If time travel were possible, I would do a series of things. One of the most important things to do on my list would be to watch Billie Holiday sing live. If I had the opportunity to watch her sing at a small jazz club and be in the ambiance of other famous singers from the 50′s, that would make my life complete! I know its kind of strange for that to be my first experience in the past, but I absolutely love Billie, Ella Fitzgerald and most singers from that time period. To me, that symbolized REAL blues music.
Other trips I I would love to experience from the past would be…
-Be present during Barack Obama’s election. He is the president of my current time. The first president I was legally able to vote for and it would have been an awesome experience.
-Visit my Native American and American ancestors.. See what they were like as human beings and to understand their way of life. I would also like to get a true understanding of my heritage and where my family originated from.
-Visit the smaller version of myself.. Just to laugh at all the crazy things I used to do as a child. (kinda creepy)…But I’m always asking my parents and grandma about what I used to say/or do when I was a child. I’m sure it would be hilarious to watch.
-I would love to go back in time to watch Muhammad Ali fight LIVE when he was in his prime.
On these occasions I would not want to change the fate of the future. I do believe that one small change would affect the future, therefore it being changed information to what we know now as “history”.Although there have been some unfortunate mishaps like death and tragedy, I do not feel that it would be my position to play God and rearrange what was meant to be. I think having the opportunity to experience the past in my time travel would make me appreciate my time on earth and all of the wonders that life has to offer.

If I worked for a greeting card company (chocolate manufacturer) I would persuade the public by doing a few things.
1. I would offer customized chocolates to my public (names, pictures, designs, etc to be on the chocolate)
2. Freebies after a certain amount of purchases had been. (free card or free stuffed animal)
3. Free shipping
4. If you (customer) suggests our company to 3 other people, then we will send your Valentine’s a small edible arrangement.
These are just a few things that my greeting card company could do to persuade customers to buy our Valentine’s Day gifts and say “Thanks” for shopping with us, due to all of the awesome deals.
I have never been that girl that get’s so hung up on Valentine’s Day. Its been so convenient that every year when the “holiday” comes around that I have been single. Even with this being said, if I’m lucky that year I might still receive a gift. There’s a sure chance that I will receive a gift from my mom every year, but I can only recall 3 real Valentine’s Day gifts from guys.
The best Valentine’s Day gift that I ever got was a date to the circus, dinner (SUSHI), a customized Build-A-Bear and tons of chocolate from my ex boyfriend, sophomore year in college. This sounds like a fairy tail, and I will admit I was treated like a queen that day. However, I only kept my gifts for 1 day (if that) because the very next day I found out that he had been cheating on me the whole time. -_________-
The other 2 gifts that I can recall were nice and didn’t end in tragedy. The second gift I can remember was a huge green frog (stuffed animal) that my high school crush left on my desk during my Junior year. And lastly, my favorite gift of all which I received yesterday
was a stuffed animal and a chocolate rose. Yea, the stuffed animals are cute (two puppies arm in arm with a heart in front that says “puppy love”) but I am more excited about the person that gave them to me.. He’s a really cool guy and hanging out with him was just as great.
These gifts weren’t items that I would ever really need but they were nice to have. So I don’t think that I could tell that guy “I didn’t like them” , just out of respect since they spent money on me.

Most people that truly know me.. understand that I get annoyed sooo easily. Here are a list of things I suggest you not do while around me
1. DO NOT Litter around me. I really suggest that you don’t do it at all… cause you know the world isn’t a giant trash can -_____-
2. Use your signals while driving your car!!!
3. If you want to borrow my things (roommates or friends in general)..DO NOT touch my stuff without asking and DO NOT make me have to hunt you down to get MY stuff back.
4. Use the good kings English when we have a conversation.. I will correct you if you say “Is you” “Is we”..and so on…
5, Guys…come correct with respect if you want to ask for my phone number..Nothing bothers me more then a weak pick up line.
6.Roommates, please don’t leave your dirty dishes in the sink for 3 weeks.
7. Nagging girl friends always telling me about fights with their guys just annoys me.. just brake up already.. clearly you both are not feeling it anymore…
8. My toilet seat stays down by the way.. just so on a late night when I’m stumbling to the restroom.. I don’t fall in. THANKS!
9. Make eye contact with me when we are having a conversation.. That’s just rude if you can not look me in my eyes.
10. Major Pet Peeve = Please don’t play your music out loud on your IPod when walking to class.. That’s why we have the wonderful invention called earphones
11. Please don’t ask me questions about a movie that neither you nor I have ever seen, while it is on…
I’m sure there a bunch more but just thinking about how annoyed I get for the things I have listed thus far.. is already stressing me out lol.
Social media is a growing force in this day and age. It will continue to grow with the competition of new tochnologies forever changing. Therefore it is important that we all stay ahead of the game and know as much about social media as possible. Twitter, Facebook, WordPress, all forms of social media that keep us updated about news in real time. Most thought that Twitter was a fad, but companies are using it to market thier compaines and keep people in the know. They also have thier employers who are over their PR or Social meida departments send off information to keep potential clients in the know and answer questions that anyone might have.

I have never been much of a reader for 2 reasons. 1. My free time includes being active or taking naps. 2. I dedicate ANY reading that I need to do strictly for school work. Books have to really be something I grow to have an acquired taste for because I don’t want to force myself to get through a book. The first few chapters really have to grab my attention in order for me to feel that it’s worth finishing. Most of the time I see the movie before I read the book. However, I think from this year on out, I would like to start a new hobby for myself.I would like to become apart of book club, maybe something that a group of my friends start. It would be a great way for us to incorporate our thoughts and just spend our time wisely. I have intentionally waited to see the movie Water for Elephants because I am still finishing my book and so far it is a really great read.
Books that I have read that have had great films
-The Lovely Bones
-Holes
-Harry Potter
- The Kite Runner (favorite)
Movies I seen before I read the book
-The Help
-Twilight
-Marley & Me
